Functions of the Scott County Clerk's Office

• Secretary to the board of county commissioners and official recordkeeper
• Responsible for the budgets of all county entities
• Prepares the tax levy and tax statements for the County Treasurer
• Organizes and conducts all elections
• Bills and collects trash service for Scott County
• Sells Wildlife and Parks licenses and permits
• Responsible for accounts payable and county payroll
