A PUBLIC TEST of the vote counting equipment to be used in the General Election held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, will be demonstrated in the Scott County Commissioner Room, 303 Court Street, Scott City, KS on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in accordance with KSA 25-4610.
Notice of Post General Election Audit and drawing of Precincts to be audited.
As required by K.S.A. 25-3009, a postelection audit of ballots cast in 1% of precincts in Scott County will begin at 10 A.M. on Thursday, November 10, 2022, in the Commissioner’s Room at the Scott County Courthouse.
We will audit no less than two precincts and two contested races for the general election. The precincts and races to be audited will be selected in a random drawing at the start of the audit.
The Post General Election Audit will be done immediately following the drawing of Precincts in the Commissioner's Room.
When the audit has been completed, the county board of canvassers use the audit results when certifying the official election results.
