The Landfill is CLOSED on Sunday, Monday, and all County observed Holidays. In emergency situations local contractors can make arrangements to dump on Mondays by contacting the Public Works Office at 872-2202.
Welcome to Scott County
Scott County is home to approximately 5,000 Kansans, and stretches across well over 700 square miles of Kansas prairie. Scott County was organized on July 5, 1886, and named in honor of Major General Winfield Scott, United States Army, hero of the Mexican War.
