2024 Presidential Preference Primary Election - Unofficial Results

A PUBLIC TEST of the vote counting equipment to be used in the Presidential Primary Preference Election held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, will be demonstrated in the Scott County Commissioner Room, 303 Court Street, Scott City, KS on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in accordance with KSA 25-4610.
Notice of Post Presidential Preference Primary Election Audit and drawing of Precincts to be audited.
As required by K.S.A. 25-3009, a postelection audit of ballots cast in 1% of precincts in Scott County will begin at 10 A.M. on Thursday, March 21, 2024, in the Commissioner’s Room at the Scott County Courthouse.
We will audit one precinct and two contested races for the Presidential Preference Primary Election. The precinct to be audited will be selected in a random drawing at the start of the audit.
The Post Presidential Preference Primary Election Audit will be done immediately following the drawing of Precinct in the Commissioner's Room.
When the audit has been completed, the county board of canvassers uses the audit results when certifying the official election results.

A presidential preference primary election will be conducted in Kansas this year. The date of the election, along with the names of the candidates for the office of President will be available on the Secretary of State’s website at VoteKansas.gov or visit your local county election office for more information.

REGISTRATION BOOKS BEFORE PRESIDENTIAL PREFERENCE PRIMARY ELECTION

Pursuant to the provisions of K. S. A. 25-2311 (c), notice is hereby given that on the 20th day of February 2024, all registration books for the primary election will close at the end of regular business hours. Registration books will remain closed until the 20th day of March 2024.
“NOTICE OF PLACE AND DATE OF REGISTRATION”
Notice is hereby given that the books for the registration of voters will be open at the following places at the time specified:
County Clerk’s Office, Courthouse, Scott City, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
At the above designated times on the 20th day of February 2024, the books for voters’ registration will close and remain closed until the 20th day of March 2024.
